Our youth program is comprised of a "smaller" group of students that possess powerful possibilities by thinking "bigger"! Our youth program continues to emerge and change while ironically staying the "same yesterday, today and tomorrow." Our goals are to develop disciples, deepen learning, create change, and unleash leaders. We are wired fr relationships, redemption, and restoration. Connect with us to experience just that through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Change for Change: August-September

It's that time of the year where we collect a small monetary donation (change) that is used to provide the three children that we sponsor, James, Gabriel and Dyana, a small Christmas gift. Please consider sending a donation by September 30th. Our gifts for them must be sent in October in order for them to receive them for Christmas. Thanks for helping us change lives with our change!

Bayou Youth Rally: Sunday, September 3rd

Youth will meet at OGBC Sunday evening (time TBA) and we will then travel to Istrouma Baptist Church in Baton Rouge for the rally. After the rally, we will either skate or bowl until midnight. You will be responsible for picking up your youth at the church at 12:20 a.m. (This is the Labor Day weekend and there is no school on Monday.) Cost of the evening which includes a snack (2 slices of pizza and a drink), the rally, bowling/skating = $20. Most youth bring extra money for extra snacks/games, but it is not necessary.

Fall Food Roundup: September

It's also time to collect food (that your kids would want) for the Children's Home in Monroe, LA. Tissue, paper towels and wet wipes are needed, too. Please consider sending an item or two (or three) by Sunday, October 1st. We can be a part of taking care of the orphans.
